THE CLIFFS OF MOHER & BURREN TOUR

Taking you along Galway Bay, your first stop is at the fishing village of Kinvara to see Dunguaire Castle & into The Burren- home to 75% of Ireland's native flora & location of numerous ancient monuments many of which we visit including the Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, the 5,800 year old Poulnabrone Dolmen and Ballyalban Fairy Fort- home of little men with green hats and orange beards!

Stopping also at Kilfenora to see the famous Celtic Crosses (Irish High Crosses), we make our way to the 200-metre high, 8kms long Cliffs of Moher.

Enjoy stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands and take your time to soak up the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moher. (2 hour stop- FREE admission to Cliffs!)

We go home via the Coast Road with views of Connemara & Galway in the distance passing by such famous landmarks as Doolin and the Leprechaun Head.

THE CONNEMARA & CONG TOUR

The Connemara & Cong Tour departs daily at 10am from Merchants Road in Galway City. To see the hidden Ireland off the main tourist track this tour is a must with the first stop at Ross Errily Friary- a hidden but atmospheric 14th century monastery before entering Cong Village for a guided walk through Cong Woods to see Ashford Castle.

Entering Connemara on the Lough Nafooey route allows you to see the stark beauty of the hidden valley of Connemara before arriving at the Atlantic Ocean and for hostellers there is an option to hop-off at Sleepzone Connemara. The tour then continues to Kylemore Abbey (or Connemara National Park for walkers) and back home via the Inagh Valley.

THE GALWAY NIGHT TOUR

The Galway Tour Company are now Galway’s only day & NIGHT tour company! The tour begins with a visit to the medieval quarter to explore Galway’s hidden secrets and urban legends. Going west of the River Corrib we take in panoramic views of iconic landmarks such as St. Nicholas Cathedral and the old University Quadrangle. Other tour highlights include the exclusive Taylor’s hill, Galway bay, Salthill Promenade and the old Claddagh village.

Departing 9pm from Galway City Centre you board the coach to meet your guide for the evening. Be prepared to learn about not only the medieval origins & legends of this city but also take a journey to see how Galway has over the centuries evolved into becoming Ireland’s very own City of Culture.

A visit to the leafy suburbs of Taylors Hill, becoming an honorary Galwegian by ‘kicking the wall’, learning of the Anatomy scandal, hearing tales of Poltergeists and Spririts- some of the liquid kind- are all part of this unique tour- the perfect way to end your day in our city. Come along!

 THE ARAN ISLANDS

THE CORRIB PRINCESS - Scenic River Cruises
The corrib princess sails from Woodquay in the heart of Galway City, along the famous Steamers Line, which is the lakes traditional trade route. The journey takes passengers along the Majestic River Corrib and onto the lake providing visitors with unsurpassed views of the historic monuments and natural amenities that make this the most spectacular waterway in Ireland. The Corrib Princess takes you past castles and various sites of both historic interest and natural beauty.
